I paid for 6 different consultations and spoke to over 10 attorneys all through the PNW. This does not include the endless amounts of reviews and research I did on attorneys in which I chose to not call. Even some of the most high rated attorneys lacked the knowledge, skills and confidence that ...we needed for our family court hearing. I came across Janice on AVVO and started doing my research. I seen that she is an advocate, a blogger and had a strong legal background. It was very important that we found an attorney that could articulate their words on paper and in court. I live in mason county and I retained Janice as we no longer have decent family law attorneys local anymore. I consulted with at least 5 attorneys from surrounding counties and after speaking with Janice, I felt comfortable and confident in her knowledge and understanding of family law. I’ve represen...t myself a handful of times pro se in the past and from the moment I spoke with her, we made a connection. The opposing counsel brought on a parenting plan modification that was filled with lies, false allegations and erroneous justifications to warrant a major change. I brought all my declarations, attachments and relevant information to Janice and she got to work ASAP.
