Corey Patrick Riordan

I hired Corey following an incident that resulted in a few misdemeanor charges. Luckily they weren’t very serious, but it was and has been stressful to deal with. I had been dealing with some prolonged issues related to my having a mental health diagnosis, and Corey was able to level with the prosecu...tion to get me into a deferred agreement with the court. My charges should be dismissed upon completing the court’s terms and conditions of that agreement, and I’m not sure my case would have gone this direction without having hired Corey. 100% would hire him again if I had to do it all over, without question. Every step of the way, Corey has been there to make sure we have what we need to protect my best interests. From the start, he was highly proactive and got in touch with the prosecutor to see what options we had. And it was obvious he genuinely cared about doing everything possible to get the best outcome for my case. From there forward, he has maintained regular contact to make sure there aren’t any doubts about getting my case dismissed. All I have to do is follow the agreement, and hopefully in the future this won’t have adverse effects on my life. Within 6 months I found an employer willing to let me continue the career path I had been on previously, so I can already say that having the deferred adjudication has led to stronger prospects for my life than I’d perhaps have had without it. I’ll be honest, it’s been a frustrating process at times. And Corey has been there to listen when I’ve had concerns, and it’s been great to get his unbiased perspective when I need it. Legal expenses aren’t exactly cheap; it doesn’t matter where you look. But it’s a no brainer investment when you consider how bad your situation could potentially get without the “right” representation. Corey provides a much higher level of service than what I feel like I’d have gotten elsewhere, and you should definitely hire him should you need an outstanding criminal defense attorney in your corner.
