I hired Corey following an incident that resulted in a few misdemeanor charges. Luckily they weren’t very serious, but it was and has been stressful to deal with. All I have to do is follow the agreement, and hopefully in the future this won’t have adverse effects on my life. Within 6 months I found an employer willing to let me continue the career path I had been on previously, so I can already say that having the deferred adjudication has led to stronger prospects for my life than I’d perhaps have had without it. I’ll be honest, it’s been a frustrating process at times. And Corey has been there to listen when I’ve had concerns, and it’s been great to get his unbiased perspective when I need it. Legal expenses aren’t exactly cheap; it doesn’t matter where you look. But it’s a no brainer investment when you consider how bad your situation could potentially get without the “right” representation.
