Cindy is full of wisdom that comes from years of practice. Yet, she remains approachable and respected me as a person capable of making my own decisions that impact my life. Thanks to her support, I have an equitable parenting plan. While other attorneys command, Cindy actively listens and supports me when I need to make critical decisions in my case. Cindy is awesome. She was highly recommended to me and I hired her when my King County case became complicated due to child custody matters. We worked together for a year and although divorce was awful, she was one of the best things during the process. We had a fairly difficult case. My ex-spouse... is a military member and his representation was not professional: poor ethics, poor communicator who consistently did not meet deadlines, tardy to proceedings, and blatantly lied about documented facts. Cindy is realistic, consistent, would think three steps ahead, and she was always courteous and business-like, even when the other party was not respectful. Divorce is stressful in the first place but it is worse when the other party attempts to escalate matters. I was lucky to have Cindy as my representation, as she is level-headed and will take the high road. She will always stick to what is legal and beneficial in the long run and won't let emotions get in the way of business. In fact, she looks for ways to de-escalate the situation if emotions heat up. She is a solid legal guide and reliable in all ways - in my case, she regularly discussed paperwork, reminded me of deadlines, double-and even triple-checked documents, worked ahead of deadlines, explained any legal questions, and was able to meet with me if I wanted in-person meetings. I know she also researched military regulations and rules in my case, so she would have better insight. In addition, she checked-in with me when things were slow so we were in constant communication. The three best character traits about Cindy are she is honest, hard-working, and dependable, which are really important when it comes to divorces (in my opinion). She does not play games and will not manipulate or massage the truth so if you want straightforward representation, she is the one. I know she cares about her clients so she does not take advantage of people, which I know is not always the case when it comes to lawyers. Communication is prompt; she is available via email, text, and phone (although I usually texted her prior or set a phone appointment). In addition, she tries not to waste your time or money, and is thoughtful about funds. Divorce was expensive but I know my total was about half of that of my ex-spouse, and I know his representation was not communicating with him as frequently. I am thankful Cindy was in my corner and would recommend her to anyone going through a [difficult] divorce. I really only have positive comments about her; if you want a detail-oriented, thorough, knowledgeable, honest lawyer who has the foresight to give you the best legal advice for you (and your children), I highly recommend Cindy.

I had almost given up on legal representation after bad experiences with a large, well known family law firm as well as with an independent attorney. Then I was referred to Cindy. I was in Seattle and she was in Tacoma but the distance wasn't an issue at all; she was great to work with and very ef...fective. Cindy quickly got up to speed on our complicated, contentious child custody case, complete with DV accusations. I found her to be sharp, caring, and an excellent communicator with a solid mix of compassion, expertise, and ethics. She has an incredible ability to very quickly get to the heart of the matter. She was a trusted guide outside the courtroom during the most challenging time of my life and extremely good at representing inside the courtroom. When the judge steered both lawyers a different direction, Cindy was quick on her feet and able to adapt her response. I appreciated that she stayed calm and reasonable even when my ex's attorney was not. Somehow, she made an incredibly hard situation as manageable and empowering as possible. I am incredibly grateful for Cindy's help during a most challenging time in my life. My my son's life and my own are so much better as a result of Cindy. My only wish is that I had found her at the very beginning of this journey in family law. I highly, highly recommend her!

Cindy has been an amazing family attorney, though she seems soft spoken her dignified manner and her sharp intellect have saved me tons of $$$ and time by negotiating a very reasonable solutions out of court with a very unreasonable ex who has plenty of money to spend on his $450/hr lawyer. She has h...eld strong boundaries with the other lawyers underhanded attempts to convolute and drag out proceedings by being very forthright and logical in advocating fair solutions for Child support modification. I continue to consult her on PPA violations and issues, and she has been a compassionate and very affordable advisor- she's well worth 5X her hourly rate, and I'm grateful that she's been so generous to offer such a competitive rate with her ability, experience and heart in an area of law that is so full of turmoil. She is calm, conscientious and fair.
