I help clients protect their future through careful legal planning, so that they and their loved ones can be provided for when the client is no longer able to personally do so. I do this through my work as a solo practice attorney who practices in Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Probate.
My philosophy is that no two clients are the same. Each client is a whole, complex individual, rather than just a faceless legal issue. I am passionate about helping clients protect their future. I do this by giving them the legal means to secure the safety of their property, family, finances, and health care needs. Not only do I have a strong background in the law, I also have a strong background in medical and science terminology, as well as how the U.S. healthcare system operates. This means that I can better assist in elder law, estate planning, and probate, since I understand basic disease processes.
I offer a confidential 30 minute consultation. This allows the prospective client and I to determine, not only whether I can assist them, but also if we would make a good problem-solving and planning team. I look forward to meeting with you!

Bryana Cross Bean helped my parents and I navigate through complex and foreign financial choices we had to make as our family coped with changing needs. On behalf on my parents and for myself, I want to recognize not just the expertise but her warmth and personal integrity which helped quell a lot of...

I contacted the law offices of Bryana Cross Bean and scheduled a consult for questions regarding my future Medicaid benefits. I presented my information and documentation and explained the circumstances regarding my situation. I received no feedback for future steps that I and/or we could take regar...
I'm sorry you had a bad experience during our consultation. It was not my intention, and I always strive to provide excellent service. Given your particular situation, my professional opinion was that there were few steps I could take for you unless there was some additional action taken by Medicaid. I did provide you some direction on steps you could take on the post-it notes. People on government benefits, such as Medicaid, tend to have financial concerns, and I did not think it was ethical to take you on as a client knowing that paying my legal fees might negatively impact your ability to pay your other bills. My philosophy is to empower clients and potential clients to be successful even if that means taking alternative measures, rather than hiring me. This is also why I require an initial consultation before I agree to take on someone as a client. Sometimes a particular attorney-client pair is not a good fit, and a person may have to meet with multiple attorneys before they find someone they are comfortable with. Take care, and I hope you were able to find another attorney who was a better fit.

Attorney Cross Bean assisted me and my family during a probate issue right after my father passed in Tacoma. Being from Indiana, I did not know anything about Washington state laws. When she took over my case, she explained everything to me and my family on level that we could understand, and then ...

I was setting up my first will and Bryana was patient and flexible with me because of my schedule. She was thorough and I had a wonderful experience working with her. Her rates were one of the best I found. I would definitely work with her again in the future.

I hired Ms. Cross to help me update my estate planning documents. I have some unique needs that she was able to address. She was thorough, professional, and very approachable. I would definitely hire her again and I frequently recommend her to friends and family.
"I endorse Bryana as a knowledgeable professional in estate planning, elder law and probate. I would feel comfortable referring clients from my own practice to her to assist in their estate planning needs."
