Skilled and compassionate

We consulted with Karen about a real estate transaction last year and found her advice to be excellent and reassuring. Our transaction went flawlessly. Karen is a very good listener and cares about her clients, even 'little people' like us. She also has a great sense of humor and lightened a tense... time for us. Her fee was very reasonable more than worth every penny.

If your a snake hire her

So she lives across the street and she helped this lady take our home we were buying. They lied about everything and she also mentioned the fire department coming out numerous times but failed to mention that she called them every time and everytime I had a permit. They lied in court and now me, m...y fiancé who I was set to marry next month but now have to postpone the wedding thanks Karen and our children are homeless because we fixed up the dump and made a home and raised the value double what it was have no money after dumping into this place and have no home. Thanks Karen sleep well tonight you did awesome putting a family on the streets but hey your friend that has another house gets to move into this one that WE put THOUSANDS into you are a great lawyer you snake I hope karma gets you. How do you lie like that knowing you are putting a family an Army Vet and his fiancé with a child with cerebral palsy and another asthmatic child that has to postpone their wedding out on the streets in November. You are a heartless monster and I wish for you to one day find your heart and realize what you have done for a dollar. I’m sure we are not the first you have destroyed. I will share this everywhere possible and watch for the Pickett coming to your office soon. Already close to a hundred ready to line the street at your office. You deserve this and I will let the world know of you and your husband shinning flash lights in my windows in my daughters window while hiding behind trees and running when I caught him. You harassed us and we will be making a complaint with the courts not the one your judge friend we had today is in but a real unbiased no friends for you court. I’m gonna shut you down I won’t stop until I do. Your evil Karen and I’m telling everyone

Conflict of interest maybe? 7 months later still homeless

She represents a lady that offered us a home to purchase and after fixing the home up and after making a yard out of a dirt pit, repairing a roof, painting inside and out, go ing a $5000 down payment, rebuilding a shed from ground up, spending over $1000 to fix a well, clearing brush to make a beauti...ful yard in back she and her client attacked us. Her client decided that she no longer wanted to sell the home that she offered and that me and my children and soon to be wife made our home. I told her that you can't just change your mind after we fix the place and pay a down payment and she said "oh I can and I did" and then came Karen with faulse claims mainly of burni g. She claims that we are a nuisance and had listed every time we burned outback and even has dates that were from before we lived here. We have a burn permit and the fire dept. comes out every time we burn and looks and says "sorry" and leaves. Her husband I assume it is has been found many times hiding behind trees watching us and watching my teenage daughter while hiding behind trees as she walks to the bus stop in the morning. Just the other night I was outside and this man shined a flashlight and scanned my property and when the light hit me he turned and walked real fast oh did I mention that Karen lives across the street and my neighbors argue all the time and when they get loud Karen or someone from her home called the police and tells them it is us. The police stop by and Everytime say "sorry" and leave. They claim that due to limited mobility and my smoke from my LEAGAL fires make it so the male that hides behind trees and lights up my place is confined to the home. I own a construction company and I get yard waste branches and wood so usually I will burn it but after the kids go to bed so that I can sit with the fire and an hose and keep the area wet and make sure the fencing I lay over the fire so nothing pops out stays inplace without being distracted. So I don't see where the small fire I make at night is a nuisance or limits anyone that is hiding behind trees to their home. All neighbors KAREN included have commented on how beautiful the home and yard are now that WE HAVE MOVED INTO THE HOME. Karen then turned on us I'm assuming for money. Now we have to fight her in court again and after sinking everything into this home we are buying we have to fight her without a lawyer and she is going to going to eat us alive and we know that but hey what's a family thrown to the streets because someone decided they wanted their house back and sends people to pound on windows of teenage girls and hop fences to serve forged unstamped court paper but has money (probably the down payment we made) as long as she gets paid right? Crazy how one day she's praising you on how the place looks and waving everytime she sees you then the next she is trying to put you out on the streets with your kids because the people that ran it to the ground and the neiborhood couldn't stand decided she didn't want to sell it anymore. We had a verbal agreement we have receipts for everything and I believe in Washington state a verbal agreement is legally binding for 365 days or am I wrong? Also wouldn't her being my neighbor and making faulse reports on us be a conflict of interest? I'm not a lawyer so I'm asking? Because I don't understand why one day my neighbor is sweet and I'm buying a home and the next day my neighbor is attacking us and I'm fighting to save our home while I watch my fiance and children cry everyday and night from fear of being homeless. Karen is good and she will beat us but ethical? Well that depends on how far your wallet is. Karen will celebrate a win but I hope as she sees us packing and my family crying as we leave what we made home to live in a vehicle and my company close because no place to work from. I hope she takes a drink off her whine and says to herself "good win self you through a family to the streets" I hope taste good im sober so I hope it's good.

Straightforward Advice and Reasonable Fees

Karen helped our firm out with what could have easily been an ugly situation. The documents she drafted were clear, concise, non-threatening, and really helped defuse the other party's emotions. This allowed a speedy and minimally dramatic resolution to a complex entity restructuring that several o...ther firms had declined to represent us on. Highly recommended!

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Karen was opposing counsel on a real estate dispute. It was clear from our interaction that she was a practical problem solver--a person who sought a reasonable resolution at minimal cost to her client. While she argued her side effectively, she refrained from needless posturing. With a few weeks of legal discussion and correspondence, we were able to resolve our settlement amicably. Through the final recording of the settlement agreement, Karen kept my side appraised of the events. She was professional at all times."
