Mike is a bright guy and a lot of fun. He is easily distracted however and needs supervision. Long after our initial hearing, he called me asking if I had receicved final court papers. At this point, the deadline for appeal was long past and this ended up costing me thousands. He ended up saving ...me thousands but I largely orchestrated the settlement terms. I am a newcomer to the legal process and would have expected better service for what I was paying him. He often seemed more interested in getting to cocktail hour and was more than willing to teach the opposition attorney how to practice law on my dime. There are far better attorneys out there.

Went from 4 to 12 nights with my daughter in four weeks when previous attorney twiddled his thumb for five months. Strategically negotiated a compromise rather than go into hearing where strong judicial bias and some of my own mistakes would have lowered my odds. Family law in Washington is shitty ...for men, and their should be a better-faster-cheaper way. But if you go to war bring a warrior!
