Domestic Violence Charge Dismissed...

I hired Brian from out of state to deal with an old alleged charge from Snohomish County. He was very easy to work with and was reasonably priced given his stellar reputation. He answered all of my texts and most of my calls during the process. He coordinated the exact court date I needed based on my... travel/schedule availability to come up to Washington State. After 2 meetings with the Prosecutor, Brian was able to get a 'Confirmed Dismissal' which I was informed of before arriving in Washington. That definitely took the stress out of the trip. On the day of my court appearance Brian was stuck in Seattle doing something for another client. I found out about this 40 minutes before having to appear before the judge. My axiety was through the roof, so Brian called 3 of his attorney friends to come and stand in for him and all 3 showed up! It was actually uite comical becase the prosecutor had to ask which one I wanted to stand with lol. The only unfortunate part of the experience was that I never got to meet Brian face to face and he was able to show up to my court hearing. Overall I would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, consice, committed and connected attorney.

Outstanding service

Brian was on top of our case and helped tremendously. He is knowledgable and follows up on all issues. He is prompt, kind and has an unrattled tone in his voice. Brian is confident in his actions and investigates all issues.

Mr Boris

Strongly Disappointed with Attorney: Brian Charles AshBach I am compelled to share my deeply frustrating experience with attorney Brian Charles Ashbach, whom I engaged for legal representation in September 2023. Initially, Mr. Ashbach presented himself with confidence, convincing me of his ca...pability to achieve favorable outcomes for my case. He emphasized the urgency, prompting me to pay the entire fee upfront to expedite the process. After securing payment, Mr. Ashbach scheduled a court appearance for a Wednesday in November. However, this date was continuously postponed with various excuses. The lack of stability and clarity began to raise serious concerns about his commitment to my case. Communication with Mr. Ashbach deteriorated rapidly post-payment. My attempts to reach him through phone calls and emails were met with a string of excuses; he was either sick, on vacation, or otherwise unavailable. This pattern of elusive behavior persisted for over eight months, leaving me in limbo and without professional guidance. Ultimately, Mr. Ashbach chose to withdraw from representing my case and, to my dismay, offered only a 20% refund of the fee I had paid in good faith. The financial and emotional toll of this ordeal has been substantial. I am sharing my experience to caution others seeking legal assistance. Based on the service I received, I would advise prospective clients to consider other options. Professionalism, reliability, and communication are critical in legal matters, and unfortunately, I found Mr. Ashbach's services to be lacking in these areas. Please conduct thorough research and read reviews carefully before making a decision on legal representation. It is crucial to find an attorney who not only takes on your case but also sees it through with the dedication and responsiveness it deserves.

This review is extremely frustrating to read. I was the second attorney on this matter, and he made similar complaints about his prior attorney that turned out to be unfounded as well. Ultimately, continued representation on the path this client wanted would have exposed him to significant additional criminal liability and other negative impacts. As I learned more throughout the representation, it became clear that the risk was greater than initially thought. After consulting with several colleagues it became clear that I had to withdraw as what this client wanted became untenable. I offered and gave a refund significantly higher than described. I suppose in theory I could have finished the job and kept all the money, but my ethical duty is to protect my client, not maximize profit. This was explained to the client on multiple occasions - that I didn't want to wind up with him in a much worse spot than he had been in previously. Representation of this client involve a significant amount of calls, emails, texts and zoom, almost to an oppressive level. That is in addition to the legal work and research. The amount of time and effort explaining the situation to this client was immense. We are talking hundreds of text messages, a lot of emails, phone calls and zoom. Unfortunately this client refused to or was unable to see his true predicament and additional criminal liability, and is choosing to slander me as he did his prior attorney.

Bad Lawyer Didn’t show up to court!

Brian Ashbach is a terrible lawyer! He failed to read thru the notice sent to him from the opposing court and FAILED TO SHOW UP TO COURT OR NOTIFY HIS CLIENT OF COURT! Who was then picked up on a warrant and incarcerated bc he didn’t know he had missed a court date! Do NOT HIRE BRIAN ASHBACH!

This is false. This client repeatedly violated conditions of release and was warned not to. The issue was multiple instances of letting the battery on the gps monitoring unit die for 24+ hours. The tribal court set a hearing to address the issue and failed to send proper notice to both me and the client. As soon as I found out about the hearing I drove to the court but the client had again repeatedly violated the same conditions and the court issued a warrant for his arrest.

"I endorse this lawyer. Brian is a "rising star" in Snohomish County. A legacy of his father Bud Ashbach, it is clear Brian has inherited a great deal of his Dad's legal accumen and personal charisma. More importantly, Brian is a lawyer who is obviously comfortable in court, and he's not ever intimidated by the prosecutors and judges we face every day. Brian's well-versed in the law, which earns respect every day from our colleagues, prosecutors, and most importantly, judges. I have no doubt Brian's practice and reputation will continue to grow, and I look forward to watching him join the elite Criminal defense attorneys in Snohomish County. It is rare to see the combination of tenacity and diplomacy that gets great results for his clients. Brian is truly talented and hard working. He treats his clients with care and respect, and they get excellent representation as a result."

"I endorse this lawyer. Brian, like his dad "Bud", is a fighter for justice. No case is too big or too small for the Ashbachs when seeking justice for ordinary people. They are not intimidated by big insurance companys or by prosecutors. They have the respect of the courts and the respect of their peers. Their modest fees are a bargain given the fantastic results they get for their clients."
