I found Len Saunders and the Immigration Law Firm in Blaine, WA back in 2011. By then, I had spent many thousands of dollars with unscrupulous lawyers and legal services promising my waiver but only wanting more fees. Len was a different experience right from the beginning. He was completely hones...t and blunt about my situation, and researched my case before he requested any money at all. By the time I sent my first (very reasonable) payment, he already knew and understood my situation and suggested a straightforward, cost-effective, relatively speedy and ultimately successful remedy for me. The other lawyers and services got thousands of dollars from me simply for taking my calls and spending time on the phone with me. Len has always gotten back to me quickly and worked honestly on my cases, as well as those of the several referrals I’ve sent his way over the years. In fact, everyone I know who has worked with him literally cannot believe that there would be anyone out there who might feel differently. Sure, anyone’s case might not go the way they want, but I can’t imagine that there would be a more qualified & honest person to resolve an immigration matter than Mr. Saunders. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of these unscrupulous lawyers and services might have made some negative posts themselves. I give Len Saunders & his Immigration Law Firm my highest rating, and recommend them to anyone with a US border crossing issue.

My immigrant husband fell out of immigration status a number of years ago. We originally hired someone we thought was a lawyer, who actually just worked under a lawyer and misrepresented himself. That individual has since been banned from practicing in the State of Washington. Len warned us about ...him early on, but we disregarded his advice. After we lost our representation, we went back to Len. He helped us straighten everything out and was very knowledgeable about the process. My husband's case was very old and complicated, but Len helped us work through it. Ultimately, my husband became a citizen with Len's help, something we didn't believe was possible. Len never charged us more that was agreed and we had receipts for all of our fees and filings. Len has an open-door policy and is very approachable.

We hired Len for my green card application, he has a flat fee structure, half up front, half when you get your immigration apt, in my case, in Montreal. The entire process was 7 months beginning to end. His door is always open, I stopped in countless times, and called many, and his fees never chan...ged. He gave us excellent advice, kept my application on track, guided us through each step. We crossed the border often (2-4 times a week) while my application was in process, and he helped us prepare a border package. I never had a problem, but I know of others who were stopped repeatedly at the border while their applications were in process. When I went to Montreal, Len gave me a full binder with everything I needed, fully organized. Others in Montreal were shifting through stacks of paper and waited for hours, I was in and out very quickly, everything was perfectly organized. I knew what to expect at every step, and did exactly what he told me and it was a breeze. I have read some of the reviews on this site, and I doubt very much that they were actually clients, or if they were, they didn't do what Len told them. If you are going to hire an expert, follow their advice. There is a lot of paperwork to do, and Len breaks it down into bite sized pieces, that can be completed every couple of weeks. It never felt like the onerous process others have described. If you didn't follow his advice, it can be overwhelming to try and pull it together last minute and you won't get the results you want. Len was recommended to us by our neighbors, and we have spoken with other people who have hired Len, and no one has a bad word to say. Len knows what he is doing, he is friendly, and very approachable. His service extends beyond just the green card, he has diarized when I can apply for citizenship, and his rate is reduced significantly for existing clients to complete that process. He went through a list of do's and don'ts for the next 3 years, to ensure we don't make a mistake that would jeopardize my application for citizenship (eg, don't vote, among other things). We had other issues that were not part of Len's original work, and he did not charge us anything to help us out. You can't get a better immigration lawyer.

After having an issue at the border that rendered me ineligible to enter the United States, I hired a law firm back East to help with my re-entry status. They provided me many assurances they would be able to help, and I forked over $5,000 to get the job done. Long story short, they did nothing, but ...cash my cheque. I was lucky enough to see Len Saunders being interviewed on the local news a short time later and I gave him a call. He drove up from Blaine to meet me, and told me exactly what we needed to do for re-entry. I decided to give another immigration firm a shot, and I am so glad that I did. Len has been outstanding, going above and beyond (he even helped me with a letter to the law society of Canada, related to the firm that gouged me, for no additional charge). Len's been first class, and very responsive to all my calls/emails/texts. I would recommend him to anybody in need of an immigration attorney.

Len Saunders is very professional, helpful, resourceful, and knowledgeable immigration lawyer. Len has been my immigration lawyer since 2005. Len helped me with US citizenship and spousal visa for my husband. He was always available to answer any questions throughout the process. We applied in March ...and in November my husband got his visa. Len even helped my husband at the border to make the process a little less stressful while crossing as a US permanent resident for the first time.
