Steve took time out of a family outing to meet with me to discuss our needs. He brought information, clearly explained how we did or didn't fit with the rules. With only slightly over a week's notice, my husband learned he had to undergo heart surgery. No one is ever really prepared for this sort of news, but we were woefully unprepared to face possible medical issues given that our legal needs have been neglected for 30 years.
