We met with Steven about creating our living trusts, having been told by our family attorney that we didn’t need a trust because probate is “so simple” in Washington. It turned out that his flat fee for three clearly worded trusts was significantly less expensive than probate costs for one of us (whi...ch our children would have had to pay for out of their inheritance).
