From 1988 to 1995 he was a Partner in the Washington, DC law firm of Preston Gates Ellis & Rouvelas Meeds (now K&L Gates). Mr. Pettus has affiliations with law firms in Washington, DC, Shanghai and Beijing.
He is a member of the Washington State and District of Columbia Bars and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
