Dawn has provided me with legal consul three times. Twice over the phone and once in person. Issues discussed included employment, cross border employment, non-compete documents and legal ramifications of competing with former employers. She followed-up on each of our meetings with an email de...tailing our discussion. These included additional information she researched after our meetings as well as links to relevant laws or cases. This was extremely helpful. Her 'bedside manner' was professional and approachable. Dawn Deans is so far removed from the "Greedy Lawyer" stereotype, which makes it a true pleasure to work with her. Many of her services are offered for a flat rate fee rather than by hourly billing, so her clients can know the total costs of certain services up front and not have to worry about their... legal fees quickly (or unexpectedly) escalating. Dawn also encourages legal literacy to the extent that she explains everything she is doing on behalf of her clients to them, and she also lets her clients know when they are more than capable of filling in a simple or straightforward form by themselves (rather than incurring legal fees to have her fill it out on their behalf). "Fleecing" her clients for unnecessary fees or extraneous services seems positively foreign to Dawn. In our experiences working with her, she has been nothing but honest, forthright, and diligent. We have only glowing and positive things to say about her service! We enlisted Dawn's services when we were first deciding whether or not to incorporate our small business. Dawn walked us through the pros and cons of incorporation in a way that was accessible and easy for us to understand, but she didn't pressure us to make a decision one way or another. Once we decided to proceed with incorporation, she covered the legal aspects of this process on our behalves efficiently, professionally, and with great communication at every step.
