Biography
I am a criminal defense attorney and the founder of the Campbell Law Firm in Anacortes, Washington. For more than 15 years, I have defended people facing criminal charges throughout Northwest Washington — including felonies, misdemeanors, DUIs, domestic violence allegations, drug offenses, and serious traffic charges — in the courts of Skagit, Island, and San Juan Counties.
As a former court commissioner, I bring an inside understanding of how these cases are evaluated and how local courts operate. I know the prosecutors who handle these cases and the procedures of the courts where I appear, and I use that experience to anticipate the State's strategy and position each client for the best possible outcome. My clients know me as a skilled negotiator who resolves many cases favorably without trial — and as a tenacious advocate fully prepared to fight when a case demands it.
I understand that being charged with a crime is one of the most stressful experiences a person can face. I take the time to listen, explain your options in plain language, and stand beside you at every stage. Beyond defending against active charges, I also help clients vacate criminal convictions and restore their firearm rights so a past mistake doesn't define their future.
