This review is from a potential client who consulted with this attorney.

Thorough, Detail Oriented and Straight Forward. Very enjoyable to talk to and get advice from.

I heard of Sabrina through a divorced moms group on Facebook. I sent her an initial email to request a meeting, but had already met with and retained a lawyer before I heard back from Sabrina. I decided to meet with her since she had been recommended. What I really liked about Sabrina (even thou...gh I had already signed on with my lawyer) was that she was so straightforward and she heard my whole story through. I like that she asked for a background from beginning to end and she actually listened and provided honest feedback throughout. She has a wonderful and friendly personality. I really enjoyed talking to her, and didn't feel judged, mocked or looked down on. Divorce is a difficult process and she explained everything. I left feeling that she really takes care of those she represents and has their back. Before I left she printed out a form for me to sign for the response to the petition and urged me to file it ASAP so I didn't lose any of my rights. I ended up going back to her for a final review of my final divorce papers after my lawyer made updates. I just wanted to make sure everything looked reasonable and nothing was missed since I have a daughter and didn't want to miss or make any mistakes. Sabrina met with me, even though I was running late. She never made me feel rushed and went through the paperwork with such detail. She ended up making lots of great changes that made me feel so relieved and grateful that I had come to see her. Even though I had already retained another lawyer, my two appointments with Sabrina were enough that I felt she deserved an excellent review. I would not hesitate to seek her advice and think I would have done really well with her as my lawyer. I would not hesitate to recommend her to others based on the advice she had given me.

Pure Grace

Sabrina helped me with a divorce case. She instilled confidence and showed right away tremendous knowledge. In court she was pure grace. Every time opposing council spoke she was able to effectively render his point moot with just a few words. A great lawyer, I would recommend her in a second.

Caring, Professional, and Talented

Being a critical thinker, rarely would I give 5 stars in all categories to rate any service or professional, but in this instance I am privileged to do so. Sabrina Layman has guided me in two separate proceedings through Child Support Modification/Post-Secondary Education support with an unwilling c...o-parent. Ms. Layman facilitates the legal process, making it significantly less stressful. She provides moral support, while maintaining reasonable legal costs. Her positive-minded attitude and perseverance for the benefit of the children instill immediate peace of mind and garner trust. Her paralegal Debbie Sherlock has highly comprehensive knowledge on documents and proceedings, is kind, efficient, and detail-oriented. Both are true advocates for the children and their clients, and I most favorably recommend their expertise for your family law litigation needs.

"Sabrina is one of the smartest people I know. When she is on a case with me I know I will be challenged, but I know that she will contribute great insights into fashioning a creative and fair resolution of the most complex case. She is zealous, but she is practical and always appreciates that all litigation imposes financial and emotional costs on clients. With her excellent staff they support their clients through the litigation maze. No reservations in this endorsement."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
