HIRE JULIE CAPUTO!!

October 2024 - I was fortunate enough to be referred to Julie by another attorney a year ago. She was the 3rd attorney I had met with and she was able to see me on very short notice within 48 hours. Immediately, she put me at ease. After our initial visit, I already felt a huge weight had lifted. I w...as very glad that I had not already retained an attorney at that point. Right away, I felt Julie was "the right one". She was sincere, compassionate, caring, and I could tell she was smart. She immediately took control and told me what I needed to do in order to assist with the case. I hired her right then and left the meeting feeling as if I was in capable hands - and rightly so. On very short notice, Julie and her team were able to frame and present my case which secured a positive outcome at the temporary orders hearing-- for me to be awarded primary custodian of my children and to be able to temporarily remain in the family home. For the past year, Julie has worked diligently through numerous obstacles and challenges from the opposing party while maintaining a high level of courtesy and professionalism to all parties throughout the process. I am very pleased with the outcome and so glad that I chose to trust Julie during this process. Some attorneys are "sharks", or overly aggressive. I would say that Julie is assertive, fair, smart, careful, and very knowledgeable about the law. Also, I believe her courtroom presence visibly reflects her honesty and sincerity - thereby garnering respect and credibility. A big "THANK YOU" to Julie and Nick. I highly recommend Julie.

Julie Caputo Review

Julie was the third lawyer I had consulted with to end a long-term marriage to a narcissist. She came highly recommended from a good friend and I was very impressed in our consultation. Julie talked me through the entire process from day one; the emotions, fears, tears, financial aspects, and everyt...hing else that comes with ending a marriage. Julie was very aggressive when she needed to be, but also calm and respectful through the whole process. After several attempts to get the ball rolling Julie had to file a motion to get a response from the other side. We were on the phone as well as computer until 11 p.m. one night in an attempt to not go to court the next morning. Her hard work paid off that night. One obstacle down many more to come. We had to go to mediation twice due to lack of cooperation from the other side....very frustrating the games people play. Julie was always ready with the materials we needed to fight back. I would also like to comment on her staff; everyone was very knowledgeable and kind. Phone calls and e-mails were returned in a timely manner from Julie or her staff. Julie is a GREAT lawyer as well as a wonderful human being. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a lawyer.

What can I say

What can I say about Julie. Julie was my 4th attorney in a case that has lasted over 5yrs. Julie came on as I had just got screwed over by my previous attorney who not only wasted $25K of my money (in one month) but did such a horrible job on my revision motion that I was personally sanctioned $5...,000. Julie immediately got to work and helped guide me through the constant chaos of my case and life. She operates foremost with integrity and her legal strategy is based on achievable results while being respectful of the court. This pays off dividends as filings were targeted and results were achieved while not being boisterous or putting her ego on display like many others. She sticks to the facts only. Attorneys in my experience (and I have a lot) tend to operate off ego and "winning", not doing what's best for their client. Julie always advised and did what was best for me and my son and avoided fighting with other attorneys. She only wanted to solve problems. At first my goal was to get my ex to comply with our parenting plan, as it became clear my son was suffering and my ex would never comply, this changed to target change of custody. As anyone who understands the state laws around major modifications, change of custody faces almost an insurmountable threshold. We did meet that threshold and after a six-day custody trial Julie was able to secure a ruling granting me custody and sole decision making. The judge stated, "substantial evidence produced at trial", Julie left no stones unturned and made sure to check every box the court needed to make its ruling in my favor. I feel like Julie and I have been to war together and there is no way I could ever possibly thank her enough. The one thing I have learned from all of this is how absolutely crucial it is to get competent and skilled representation. I tell everyone to get the best attorney you can afford. Don't screw around because you can dig a hole you can't get out of. If you can get Julie on your case, then you can walk into court knowing you're in good hands and she will do right by you and your children. I just wish I had her on my case from the beginning. Thank you, Julie. You're a blessing.

Family Law - Relocation out of state with child

I highly recommend Julie Caputo. I hired her to help me when I was sued for custody of my child by the father (we were not married). Julie was actually the 3rd attorney that I had hired. Julie never missed a deadline, she always acted in my best interest and her knowledge of the law, the attorney ...on the side and the courts was incredible. In the end, Julie got me what I wanted, primary custody of my child and the ability to move out of state. She was honest in her dealings with me and I appreciated that. I was far from the easiest client because I literally had everything to lose and it was, with no comparison, the most difficult time in my life. Julie was always professional, patient, and kind. I worked in law for almost two decades and Julie is one of the best attorneys I have worked with.
