John B Lainhart

John is an exceptional lawyer. My wife and I hire him in a personal injury case. He did the preliminary work on the case. The law firm that he was working at reassigned the case to a different lawyer and then set of lawyers who were not diligent. After the judgement, John was kind enough to review th...e decision. He was very professional in his comments and provide some very helpful advice non gratis. It was unfortunate that we did not have him as our lawyer through the whole process. I believe that the decision would have turned out differently.

I engaged Mr. Lainhart represent me in a case where I had been cited speeding, when I had not been speeding. His thorough research determined that the radar gun calibration records that are required to be filed with the court, had not been filed, which caused my case to be dismissed. Mr. Lainhart'...s handling of my case was very professional. His advice prior to and during the court hearing was excellent. I would hire Mr. Lainhart again.

I am very very upset and displeased with the professionalism of John Lainhart. I had 2 different cases that he was "supposed" to be working. Neither car accident was my fault. He promised me he could easily win both cases. I am in the military and he knew I was going to Korea. After 3 years of waitin...g to see where my cases were he dropped both of them and did not give me reasons. Instead I found out from the chiropractor that he told me to use. Every time me or my wife tryed to contact him to get reasons he wouldn't answer his personal phone and when I called his office the people who worked with him would always say he is unavailable. So now I am stuck having to pay for these bills that he had arranged to be priced up. He used this chiropractor before and wanted the bill to be ran up to at least 10,000 dollars so that he could make money from winning the cases. He also did not give my contact information or mailing address to the defendant's lawyer so by the time I get back to the United States I received information that I had 5 days to find a new lawyer or my case would be completely dropped. The problem was John had all of my case information and did not release them or send them to me. My wife also called him to release the information to another lawyer and he would not. So basically the whole time I was in korea the defendant's lawyer was in court trying to find me and didn't find me because of John didn't give the information. The first case I was hit in the side and I had really good pictures of the scene. The second case I was rear ended by a 14 year old that didn't have her license and also wasn't on her dad's insurance and shouldn't have been driving. I had to take my wife to the hospital because she was pregnant and felt weird and I had my other kid in the vehicle. The first case he dropped and I had 5 days to receive the case information from him. The second case was supposedly dropped because the family would have claim bankruptcy. So now I have 1 accident on my record and I owe this money that I believe John should have to pay. The second accident definitely shouldn't have been dropped the girl wasn't even old enough to drive and she rear ended me. I would NOT recommend this lawyer to anybody especially military. He is a nice guy but that should not be a reason to hire him. For him to promise me and my wife that he would win these cases and then treat us the way he did I still can't believe it. Words can't describe the way he has affected me, my wife and 3 kids.
