Custody battle

I had a long two year custody battle that ended with Beverly getting me custody of my five kids. As a father in the state of Washington I know this is very difficult to make happen. Beverly was very knowledgeable of family law and argued my case with perfection. I would recommend Beverly anytime.

Inexperienced

This lawyer lacks experience and her overall knowledge of Family law is limited. In fact, her inexperience caused my family undue hardship and increased costs for all involved. I would recommend finding an attorney that's more of an out of the box thinker and creative in terms of navigating complex f...amily issues and more committed to negotiating a peaceful solution without bias.

Bev is a great lawyer with high morals

I was involved in a family law case along with criminal investigation that had life changing outcome. With the severe false charges involving my kids and flawed legal system aggravating my situation despite getting clearance from CPS/police. I reached out to Bev during these dire circumstances. S...he provided me with legal guidance and how the process works. She works with you to find outcomes that works in legal system. There are tons of lawyers around who are like scavengers ready to pounce on target and exploit high conflict situations in their best interest and then there is Bev. She holds high moral ground and provide guidance in the best interest of family. Sometime high conflict situation are the best time when people make rash decisions and dig deeper grave for themselves and that costs them fortune. Bev works for you without exploiting you. If you are looking forward to a lawyer who understand your situation and help family move forward without exploiting your situation, Bev is the right lawyer for you. Thank you Bev.

Compassionate Counsel

Beverly represented me in a family law situation and it was obvious from the start that she really cared about my situation. She took the time to understand my priorities instead of making assumptions about what they might be. I found her to be responsive and knowledgeable. What I appreciate mos...t is her integrity. When my case escalated into an arena where she did not have as much experience, she worked hard to find me the appropriate attorney. She made calls, researched and talked to experts. In the end, I had several excellent lawyers from which to choose. Beverly works hard and truly cares about her clients; and for that she gets my recommendation.

Do not contact this firm or associates

Let me begin by saying that I specialize in online marketing in order to establish clientele through web presence and I have a great understanding of business negotiations and business in general as that was my field of study in college. Given my experience in that field of expertise I can guarantee ...you the reviews on this lawyer up to this date are fabricated with the exception of mine. It is no coincidence that the last review on this attorney was over a year ago. I had not discovered this website until after the damage had already been done in my experience. I am hoping I can save the next man/woman from a similar one. Overall rating: poor. Reason: Beverly had an understanding of my situation to the fullest extent, she did not listen to my needs and she did not keep her end of the deal. While in court she was hesitant to speak to the judge as if she was inexperienced or just plain scared to do so. She failed to make important changes to case documentation and failed to inform me of this until the day of court at which point it was to late. She failed to make a court appearance and sent an unprepared substitute council. Beverly did very little work herself and simply “middlemaned” work being done from a paralegal who I never met and was given very little information about. Beverly and I made an agreement on payment and what the overall case cost would be and what the maximum amount I could afford would be, she agreed then later attempted to bill me double the agreed amount after doing work without my consent, then proceeded to file a withdraw from my case, send me another bill for a larger amount, and finally send that bill to a collection agent. Oh and by the way, what I got out of this headache was a temporary order. Meaning we weren’t even 30% done with documentation and case files in my case. Responsive: Fair. Reason: I will say she was fair in regards of responsive once I reached out but communication with her directly was so limited I felt no sense of urgency or client care in this area of review. Knowledgeable: Poor. Reason: If there was an option of giving no stars in this category that would have been my first choice. Not only did she not listen to what I was asking when it came to facts that needed to be address but she actually advised me to not address some facts that in turn not only needed to be addressed but actually would have helped my situation if they were addressed. While meeting with her in person on multiple occasions her response to questions regarding important filings and WA state law was “I’m not sure, I’ll have to check” “I don’t know if that was filde by my, but I think it was” Kept me informed: Poor. Reason: Beverly was supposed to keep me informed well in advance of any work being performed that I was going to be billed for, She did not. She was supposed to notify me well in advance of any upcoming deadlines or court dates and she did not. Overall I would say that this experience taught me a lot when shopping for council. I do not recommend anyone going to this attorney or associates.
