I have unfortunately gone through a horrible and extensive custody case with a mentally ill individual. Bev was amazing in listening and responding promptly when issues came up. She did wonderful in representing me in court, and I always felt like Bev and her office staff cared about my daughter and ...I. After having experience with a previous attorney who was horrible about responding to me, I was grateful that Bev was always swift in responding, even later at night. Wechsler Becker LLP is privileged to have Bev on their staff. As the mediator told me I had the workings of the perfect storm. Bev did an impeccable job in ALL aspects of my divorce. Bev always kept me up to date with all proceedings, options, concerns and questions I had. She thoroughly prepared me... for the many motions that were filed in my case and what to expect as well as preparing me for the lengthy mediation. She jumped through hoops for me at the 11th hour so I could understand every line item and exactly how much community cash I was receiving as I was exhausted and had already taken 3 pain pills that day leaving my head a little foggy and could no longer add up the numbers. She knew exactly what I was requesting and quickly whipped out a spreadsheet with the numbers I wanted to see. She has a very sharp mind and outstanding memory. Bev knew my accounts, balances and dates of several egregious activities as well as hearing dates that occurred during my divorce. She knew exactly where everything was and is extremely organized. When dealing with any attorney connected in this case she would correct them with supporting documentation immediately. Nothing got by Bev. Unlike the several Opposing Counsel's (4) in my case Bev never submitted anything without factual documentation and I respect her for that. More importantly in my case, not only did I get a professional attorney with Bev but I also got the moral, ethical and compassionate support from her while she was able to keep the professional and personal aspects of my case separated. After one particular hearing I just couldn't wait around for everything to get signed and Bev had sensed I was going to break down and offered to walk me to my car while I broke out in tears and she talked me through it. I was pleasantly surprised to learn late on in my divorce from Wechsler Becker's web page that Bev had majored in religion. Another fine incident was on May 3, 2011, she apparently left a meeting early to call me as I had just received a great deal of emotional garbage to read from the 4th opposing counsel. Bev had the gut feeling I was falling apart and she called me at the perfect time and again pulled me together. Bev began as my assistant but near the end I considered Bev more my attorney. In many of my motions/hearings she was held back in my case and many of the mistakes that had been made would not have occurred. I'm sure that Wechsler Becker handles many more difficult and challenging cases than mine although I've been told that mine ranked up there. I believe Bev learned a great deal about con artists and dishonesty as I did that her own future cases will have all the i's dotted and t's crossed. In the future I would absolutely recommend Beverly Nored to anyone needing a knowledgeable, honest and compassionate family law attorney. She is outstanding and I couldn't have made it through this divorce with my sense of humor still intact without her.
