Thomas J. Owens

I am now accepting cases as a mediator. I have represented clients at numerous mediation over my 24 years of practice. In January of this year, I completed Professional Mediation Skills Training at the UW School of Law. For the past 10 years, I have served as an arbitrator through the Superior Court's mandatory arbitration program. I am a certified CR 39.1 mediator.

I have represented both plaintiffs and defendants in wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wage and hour, and other employment-related cases while at Lane Powell and while practicing as a solo attorney.

I have had a litigation practice since graduating from Boston College Law School in 1986, first at a large Dallas firm, then at Lane Powell in Seattle, and, for the past 13 years, managing my own law office. I have handled employment, personal injury, product liability, and business-related cases for both plaintiffs and defendants, as well as serving as an arbitrator.
