Catherine C. Elliott

Catherine Elliott graduated with honors from law school in 2006 and embarked on a distinguished career in public defense, spanning 15 years. As a criminal attorney, she adeptly managed cases at all levels, including trials on the most serious felony charges. For over 6 years she was a supervising attorney, overseeing the work of up to 10 attorneys at a given time. With her transition to family law in 2022, Catherine leverages her unparalleled litigation and trial skills, positioning herself as an invaluable asset in this new field. Her investigative acumen, honed during her tenure in New York City where she examined police misconduct allegations, enriches her practice. Additionally, Catherine was an active editor and board member for the Seattle Journal for Social Justice and gained invaluable insight to the judiciary in a clerking externship with Federal court Judge Robart. Her commitment to justice extends to her recent service on the QLAW Association board, where she contributed over five years of leadership, holding positions such as vice president, issues and advocacy chair, and chair of the judicial evaluation committee, responsible for assessing judicial candidates throughout Washington State.
