Yasmeen Mufeed Abdullah

This attorney is nasty. Not in a way that is helpful or beneficial but in a way that lacks professionalism and integrity. She really takes advantage of people who want to do the most but she is not successful in court. She bleeds you dry and encourages retaliation and threats based on made up narrati...ves. She is not professional or truthful. High conflict in every exchange. This is damaging to everyone involved.

I first met Yasmeen when I was trying to represent myself Pro-Se and I saw her representing another client in ex-parte court. As soon as I listened to her representing her client, I was so impressed I begged her to please let me hire her and I gave up trying to represent myself (which had been a los...ing battle). After working with two other lawyers at the beginning of my divorce, I knew that Yasmeen had what it takes to get me across the finish line in my DV - divorce with kids. It has been a long exhausting four years, but Yasmeen has always had great advice along the way and worth every dollar I paid her. Things always turned out better than expected when I did whatever Yasmeen told me to do. The most impressive thing about Yasmeen is her professionalism and attention to detail. Yasmeen didn't let anything opposing council tried to slip past her or the judge. Her calm, assertive, confidence was so reassuring, it was like having a team of lawyers on my side. I didn't have to settle or give up on any of my rights. Yasmeen made sure that in the end, the outcome was fair to the full extent of the law (she made sure I won and got everything I asked for, as much as anything can be considered winning in this kind of situation) . I hired Ms. Yasmeen back in 2022 for a child abduction/divorce case, which went smoothly. I had heard about Abdullah Law Firm within the Arab community in Seattle, and everyone had great things to say about Ms. Yasmeen, so I decided to have a consultation and ultimately sought her help with my matter.... Ms. Yasmeen is highly knowledgeable in divorce cases, Hague Convention programs, custody, and other civil/family matters. In short, she successfully helped me get my child back from overseas. I hired Ms. Yasmeen again in 2024-2025 for a custody battle, asset division, and domestic violence case, which we won as well! She is very familiar with parenting plans, restraining orders, and everything related to divorce and child-related matters. Ms. Yasmeen speaks very well in court in front of judges and commissioners. She and her team are always on top of everything and respond promptly. Her hourly rate is very reasonable compared to other law firms. Although I didn’t qualify for the sliding scale, she does offer that option if you are financially unstable. I’m extremely happy with the outcomes of both of my cases, and I would highly encourage anyone going through a hardship to seek her assistance.
