Paul Chemnick has retired from the practice of law after representing clients with medical negligence claims for over 35 years. He has lectured at legal seminars, and served as a Vice President, and on the Board of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association. He has been recognized by his peers as a "Super Lawyer" for over 10 years. Paul was valedictorian of his class at George Washington University, served as an editor of the Law Review and received his law degree with honors from GW.
He treasured the opportunity to represent clients whose lives were seriously altered as a result of medical negligence, and to help bring about just and meaningful recoveries. He also valued his relationships with members of both the plaintiff and defense bars, and the claims representatives for the insurance companies for the health care providers. He believes it is in everyone's interest to fairly and efficiently evaluate and present claims, and to strive to reach amicable resolutions without the huge cost, delay, stress and risk of trial. For that reason, he appreciates the fact that he continues to serve as a mediator, and has been able to help many parties resolve complex medical negligence cases.

medical malpractice
Paul Chemnick not only became my lawyer, but also a trust worthy friend through a very tough time in my life with the loss of my husband. His legal team is very professional as well. They expressed genuine concern for my situation. I won my case, and also new friends.
"I was at a trial lawyer's convention and approached Paul with a question about a difficult issue I was having in one of my malpractice cases. He took a couple of hours out of his day to have lunch with me and go over the problem. His insights and suggestions were key to us getting a great result for the client."
