My phone consultation took all of 15 minutes in which she repeatedly and quickly dismissed instances I cited from my personal experience at my workplace. Either aspects of my experience were dismissed as coincidences, or implausible standards were applied to dismiss egregious behavior I described to... her, as harmless, when in fact anyone specializing in workplace harassment and bullying should have been more open-minded. It was as if she was in a tearing hurry to end the call. I reached out to her because she is supposed to be someone specializing in workplace as well as civil rights issues and my problems fall in the intersection of the two. If you are reaching out to an attorney for consultation and within 15 minutes, you feel like you have to argue and combat with them to take you seriously, that’s not a good place to be in. I don’t regret agreeing to end the consultation.
