John S. McMasters

I came to John McMasters as a referral from a friend of the family, now my accountant. John came highly recommended and can see why. My situation was that I had gone into business with a partner, naive; I'd failed to properly set up the LLC and create any kind of partnership agreements. I was the wor...ker in the field while my partner was the office guy and he was responsible for bidding jobs, billing clients, and paying bills. When I found that he hadn't been paying the bills or taxes, but rather using our money to start side businesses, it was too late because it had been going on for too long behind my back and at that point we were far into the red. Despite the fact that I had haphazardly entered into this partnership, John was able to show responsibilities of each of us members of the llc, showing that the misuse of funds that should have been used to pay taxes was executed without my knowledge and showing the steps I attempted to take to make it right as soon as I found out. If it wasn't for John McMasters I fear I would still be trying to get out of debt years later. Instead I've gone on to start a solo business, which is thriving and debt free, I've even been able to buy a home (thanks to today’s low interest rates). I still stay in close contact with Mr. McMasters as he is my business lawyer and from time to time I use his services to ensure that as my business grows I am crossing all my 't's' and dotting all my 'I's'.
