Attorney Review for Richard Adler

I wan t to thank Mr. Adler and his paralegal, MaryEllen Bolden for all the work they did on my auto accident injury claim.. I thought it was something I could handle myself, but as time went on, it became more and more complicated. Richard Adler agreed to help me two and a half years after the accid...ent and just prior to my needing extensive back surgery as a result of the injury. Their willingness to help me and response in bringing everything together has been very much appreciated. I feel he did an excellent job and am very satisfied. The fact that he is still working on the medical portion of my settlement after the insurance settlement was made, shows how much he cares about his clients. Thank you so very much!

Concerned and knowledgeable counsel, the client is the highest priority

My experience with Richard Adler and Jacob Gent at Adler Giersch, PS, was fantastic. From the very beginning, these two individuals made an otherwise daunting process navigable. Taking over the burden of the situation, they involved me in every decision, treated me respectfully, and made my prioritie...s their own. Never was I pressured to take my case one direction or another; instead, the available options were presented to me, and my decision was final. Richard and Jacob's experience was invaluable in resolving my case. I would have been lost without their intimate, first-hand knowledge of all aspects of personal injury law. I understand that choosing a legal adviser can be intimidating and exhausting, but I would encourage anyone in need to speak with Richard and Jacob.

Compassionate, Intelligent, Thorough - I'd recommend Richard every time.

I contacted Richard Adler on the advice of a doctor I saw after suffering a nasty accident. In his words he'd never recommend a lawyer with the one exception being Richard Adler. I was very fortunate to get his name at the time. I was involved in a life derailing bicycle accident resulting in a di...sabling brain injury. Right from the very first time I met with Richard he was compassionate, understanding, and incredibly reassuring for what was to be a multi year process trying to get the insurance company to "do the right thing". Richard not only represented me as an attorney and advocate for my legal case but helped me and my family find information on brain injury, survivor groups, and lectures with doctors where we learned a tremendous amount that has helped us cope and adapt to a new life style. Stress is one of the worst parts of a traumatic injury - the insurance companies compound that stress dramatically - and Richard did a tremendous amount to mitigate that stress on me and my family. Just his presence and demeanor were very reassuring that things were in good hands and would be taken care of. I never had to worry that something might be over looked or slip through the cracks. One of the biggest things I can thank Richard for has to be education. He really helped me understand not so much the legal side of things but my injury as well. He has done a tremendous amount of work with brain injuries and the Brain Injury association of Washington and he still understands what it's like to be new to the situation as any of us would be getting in an accident. It's scary to be going through this process, the legal stuff, insurance companies, letters, doctors... I can't thank Richard and his staff enough for what they did to help me through it all. Even after things were "done and settled" Richard has continued to be there and support myself and family even checking in just to see how we were doing.

If you’ve had a brain injury, Adler is the lawyer to get

I had the good fortune of being referred to Richard Adler via word of mouth from my chiropractor. She was concerned that the mild brain trauma that I incurred in a car accident would need someone skilled in that subtle type of injury in order to make the best case for me. I later found out that she w...as entirely correct in her thinking. He did a very thorough and professional job in guiding me in our efforts to support my case and when the time came, he prepared an excellent demand letter for the insurance companies. Both of whom settled via his negotiations for the full policy limit amounts without the cost or effort of a trial. Having read other legal briefs before, I was impressed with the level of knowledge, detail, preparation, persuasiveness, and thoroughness of his demand letter which reflect the talents of the man who prepared it. Although my case is not one of the larger ones he has dealt with, he gave it his full efforts to drive it to a successful conclusion. Now that we have settled and although his fee is complete, he continues to negotiate with the medical providers to reduce their subrogation claims on the settlement in order to help me get the most net proceeds from it. An extra effort for which I very much appreciate. Overall he did a fantastic job which greatly exceeded my expectations. I’m a very satisfied client and would recommend Atty. Adler to anyone who needs a top notch personal injury lawyer. Background: About 3 years ago I was involved in a car accident that left me with some back, neck, shoulder and head injuries with my car totaled. Admittedly, it could have been a lot worse as most of these injuries were on the mild side. As a result of the concussion I had in the accident, I was left with a mild traumatic brain injury which made me feel dizzy, confused, and somewhat unable think straight for months afterwards. I initially thought I’d just shake it off and get back to life. After 4 months, I discussed settlement with the offender’s car insurance. In that discussion, I decided I had no idea what was going on regarding rights and legal terminology and figured out that the insurance company would probably take advantage of my naivety to lowball me as they were in the process of doing on the car settlement. I got a word of mouth recommendation for another local PI lawyer. While this person was OK and did send me to some good medical providers, he has somewhat of a low tech brute force type style that I thought would be unsuited for a mild brain injury representation. He did convince me that I would be substantially better off with a lawyer representing me than going it alone. As mentioned above, I was steered to Atty. Adler’s web site where I discovered his deep knowledge and expertise in handling brain injury claims. In fact, he’s written a solid easy to understand primer on the subject which I would recommend to anyone who has had a head trauma. He and his assistant, Mary Ellen, communicated with me the plan. Mary Ellen often reminded me for follow ups and other medical appointments that I may have forgotten or neglected without her timely reminders. Although it took longer than I expected at first, I now know that he was building up a solid set of medical documentation on my various problems so that he would have the full story to be able to make the best case for me before he even approached the insurance companies. Once all my medical issues were fully defined, he prepared the demand letters and set my expectations regarding the possible size of the settlements. For instance, he thought that we might get some resistance from the insurance companies regarding some fine points that might necessitate our reaching a less than maximum settlement. Somehow, he was able to quickly negotiate over any of their objections to reach the maximum settlement without any involvement on my part. In the end, he negotiated a settlement with the offender’s insurance company and my insurance company (for uninsured/underinsured motorist) for both full policy

Richard Adler, Client Review

Mr. Adler handled my case with intelligence. He developed a strong legal structure around my brain injury case. His depth of experience handling a case like mine help him find and analyze the not so evident details that could weaken my case: remarks, examples of actions I had made or taken in the pa...st that could weaken my case. Mr. Adler also was a wise advocate. He did not let me feel sorry for myself for too long. He was always ready to advise me on situations regarding my employment, retirement and future ideas for the spending of my settlement. He absolutely held me up when I most wanted to give up. He is good counsel, wise advocate and a good person.
