also known as Ivy Law Group PLLC, Sara D. Longley
I have been in practice since 2007, and a solo attorney since 2009. I practice mainly in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate, and I enjoy helping my clients plan for their futures and their families.
During law school, I took advantage of opportunities towork for social justice. I was selectedas a John J. Curtin Fellow by the ABA Commission on Homelessness and Poverty, and worked to improve legal access for homeless people. I also served as a Legal Advocate for theUnemployment Law Project, winning favorable decisions for many clients. I worked on the federal Corrie v. Caterpillar case, which alleged aiding and abetting under the Alien Tort Claims Act. During my final summer in law school, I externed with the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division.
When not in the office I work in my garden, knit, and race sailboats whenever I have the chance.

I'm so glad I found her. She is incredibly knowledgeable. More importantly, she was understanding, empathetic, and helpful as I struggled with the difficult decisions that are an inevitable part of living wills.
"Sara and I have had multiple conversations about her experience and practice. Anyone that needs assistance in the multiple areas Sara practices should contact her for guidance."
