I hired norma Urena on may 2021, never responded to my divorce in court I had to do it my self, she stop representing myself on December. I pay her $5,000 honestly she didn’t do anything for me. Same to other 5 more people. She stop representing them. She just used the clients charger the money and l...eave the case’s. Her licensing should be removed.

I was a stay-at-home mom with no resources when my separation happened. I was desperate to settle for child support and alimony so I could get back on my feet. In a nutshell, she took most of my retainer and nothing to show for! Additionally, I had to find out from my ex and his attorney that they ha...d tried to reach out to her several times to actually discuss alimony and settlement and she was not returning their calls. When confronted, she admitted that she 'got too busy'. Had to change attorneys, pay another retainer elsewhere. My new attorney said that she barely 'scratched' the surface and she still kept most of the retainer. I don't want other women to go through what I went through. Her inaction cost me money, many fights with my ex that we could have avoided if things had been settled through court. My ex and I were eager to compromise and she's the one who prolonged everything. A divorce is one of the most traumatic event in most people's lives. I didn't need my own lawyer to add more misery to my pain.
