I met Norma after I separated from my husband after 17 years of an unhealthy relationship. I made the first appointment with her because I rather speak Spanish and wanted to feel comfortable. I was more than happy because I had found the most compassionate, dedicated and honest attorney I could wish.... The process of my divorce was long and burdensome. Norma was always ready to hear my concerns and to find a solution for them. I truly believe that Norma works for the justice. Norma made possible that my kids and me can live in peace. I was a stay-at-home mom with no resources when my separation happened. I was desperate to settle for child support and alimony so I could get back on my feet. In a nutshell, she took most of my retainer and nothing to show for! All the cases I worked with her from 2008 to 2012 in the Consulate, she won every single one of them. Many of the cases we worked with her were dependencies or other protective custody matters, divorces or else. Norma was always available to keep the information flowing between the client and the Mexican Consulate. From my experience it is quite evident that she has the experience and knowledge to handle a variety of family law matters with diligence and compromise. Her staff is friendly and helpful too. In a nutshell her work is reliable, all the clients that came to her referred by the Consulate were happy with her work and the results. An important aspect to consider is also her willingness to facilitate additional measures and facilitate economic costs on a case by cases basis to the clients that had limited economic resources or other sort of disadvantages. This just shows a clear intention of offering help not just to make an income.
