Myla Edith Sepulveda

Before joining Holmquist & Gardiner, I worked as a litigation attorney for over seven years at Reinisch Wilson PC representing employers in workers’ compensation claims.

Prior to attending law school, I worked seven years at a multimedia lifestyle entertainment company, where I worked with a range of entertainers including Hoobastank, Sons of Anarchy and Machete’s Danny Trejo. I frequently traveled for work and assisted in all divisions of the company including intellectual property. Subsequently, I joined a commercial real estate and healthcare law firm for two years before deciding to attend law school. At the healthcare firm, I assisted providers with obtaining licenses to operate assisted living and skilled nursing facilities and assisted businesses in forming corporations and limited liability companies.

Before I joined my previous firm, Reinisch Wilson PC, I clerked in the Office of General Counsel at Bonneville Power Administration (U.S. Department of Energy) and assisted in their general practice in matters including credit/risk management, bankruptcy, letters of credit, energy compliance with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and environmental compliance. I interned at the Lewis & Clark Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and represented low-income taxpayers in controversies with the Internal Revenue Service, including audits and appeals before that agency and trials and hearings before the U.S. Tax Court. I also externed at the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon for the Honorable John V. Acosta where she drafted opinions in cases involving immigration, social security benefits, education, civil rights and breach of contract.
