About Erik
Biography
For more than 30 years now, my practice has consisted of representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of litigation in state and federal courts in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and elsewhere. These cases have ranged from simple disputes up to large class action lawsuits and other complex litigation. I have also represented parties in a broad range of disputes that were resolved in arbitrations. I have served as an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, NASD (now FINRA), and King County Superior Court, and as a Mediator and Arbitrator on the Rule 39.1 panel for the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
I began my legal career in the Seattle office of Bogle & Gates. This was formerly one of the largest law firms and litigation practices in the Pacific Northwest, and I served as a litigation associate and partner there for nineteen years. When Bogle & Gates broke up in 1999, I joined Karr Tuttle Campbell as a litigation shareholder and have been there ever since.
I am admitted to practice in Washington, Oregon and Idaho state courts, and in the federal system before the United States District Courts for the Districts of Western and Eastern Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Northern California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
