Alexis Elise Hanson

I came to law school knowing that I wanted to fight issues of economic injustice. I believe that the law should be a tool for protecting people’s ability to earn a fair living, work free from discrimination and harassment, and hold employers accountable when they violate employees rights.

I represent employees in wage-and-hour and employment discrimination matters, including complex class actions under Washington’s Minimum Wage Act and individual claims involving workplace harassment, retaliation, disability discrimination, and sex discrimination.

For me, effective advocacy starts with listening to my clients and understanding how a legal violation has affected their lives. With that in mind, I strive to make the legal process understandable and accessible while pursuing meaningful accountability for the harm my clients have endured.
