Rachel Byrne

Ms. Byrne is an attorney in the Labor & Employment practice group. Her practice includes both labor and employment litigation and preventative counseling on all labor and employment matters. She regularly defends employers in lawsuits involving all areas of employment law, including sexual harassment, disability discrimination, age discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, violation of non-compete agreements, wage and hour lawsuits, and various wrongful discharge claims.

Ms. Byrne applies her litigation experience to help employers prevent future employment issues and manage current crises in her counseling practice, in which she advises employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations. She has additional experience drafting employment handbooks, severance agreements, various employment contracts and personnel policies. Ms. Byrne enjoys working with clients in a wide variety of industries, and is developing a particular expertise in the hospitality arena.
