This review is from a person who hired this attorney.

Does what's best for her clients

Karen is compassionate. I was in the midst of a dire circumstance, in which the law was not in my favor. My health insurance demanded reimbursement of surgery expenses after confirming they would pay for the surgery prior to the procedure date. Karen empathized with my situation, identified wheth...er or not we had a strong case, negotiated to her best ability, then advised me accordingly. Unfortunately we did not have a strong case, however, I did receive the best reimbursement reduction possible. Given my abnormal circumstances, Karen waved all her attorney fees. Most are apprehensive when consulting with an attorney, as bills can add up. Karen works for her clients, not just a paycheck. Attorney’s who navigate with their moral compass are exactly what one needs when faced with a dire circumstance, and I am fortunate I had Karen.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
