After going thru a brutal divorce where my ex did not want to settle on a 70/30 split in her favor offered by me, and two family law attorneys that took everything that they could get their hands on, leaving us both in debt, Jennifer Coombs was a joy to work with on a custody issue for my son. The... most important attribute that she has in my opinion was that she listens. In the past my dealings with attorneys is that they do not care what you say, want to accomplish, or what your goal is. Jennifer does. If what you may want to accomplish is not possible, she will let you know and in lay mans terms will explain it to you in a way you can understand. She will and did go the extra mile in my custody case, worked her butt off before the hearing, and was dominate during that hearing. All with respect to the court, my ex and her attorney, and most important got custody of my son for me. This is coming from someone who does not hold that profession in high regard. Mostly based on my bad experience, but I'm not sure how some of them sleep at night. I have nothing but stellar things to say about the job that she did for me, and this world would be greatly enhanced if more were like her. A true and honest statement about the way she handled my case, knowing that you can't please everyone all the time, but my goodness what a job she did for me. Mrs. Coombs is a wonderful lawyer she helped me through my divorce and getting visitation with my kids and was very prompt when I asked questions or concerns And help me through the hardest time I had ever went through in my life I highly recommend her she is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to an...d knows her stuff thanks again.

Jennifer was sneaky. She’d contact me at the last minute and demand money the night before going to court and say if she wasn’t paid, sometimes more than $10,000, that she wouldn’t be at court. The documents she drew up were full of errors, and of course that took hours to fix which was added to the... ever growing bill. After nearly 6 figures and two years of court battles, a mediator recommended a therapist who would write a letter in my favor after meeting with me and my children for several weeks. He charged a fraction of what Jennifer did and that was what finally settled the custody battle. Had I represented myself, things would have gone the same way but I’d have money to send my kids to college. She got me nothing and if anything seemed to want to prolong the case as long as possible. She made a stressful situation that much worse.
