Haeryung A. Shin

I have used Haeryung Shin as counsel in startup formation and sale of a startup company to a public company, while I was a venture capital partner and as a Corporate Counsel and deal/licensing attorney more recently while I was the COO of a major research institute. Ms. Shin is a very experienced at...torney who has done many transactions and she gives practical legal and business advice at all stages of the transaction. She is very responsive and worked both independently and side by side to get transactions done. She keeps focused on the business objectives, takes care of the smaller issues, but makes sure that I am aware of the impact of each major issue. More recently, I have used her as the corporate counsel for a major research institute in many matters including NDA negotiations, licensing contracts, and spinout formation. She became very integrated into the operations of the institute and was adept at handling multiple matters simultaneously. Again, she kept the business matters in mind, focused on getting things done, and worked well with the other sides attorneys.
