Biography
David is an intellectual property lawyer with extensive experience prosecuting and defending cases involving trademarks, copyrights, patents, trade secrets, technology transfers and licenses, software development and publishing agreements, royalty disputes, and employee covenants not to compete. David has enjoyed numerous successes in first-chair and strong second-chair positions in high-stakes intellectual property litigations. David also counsels clients on myriad legal issues relating to consumer data privacy and cyber security law.
Beyond the IP and data privacy realms, David has significant experience in the areas of insurance coverage claims, contract disputes, tax litigation, executive compensation, and ERISA fiduciary liability. He has argued multiple cases before a variety of state and federal courts of appeals and was the lead drafter on many appellate briefs.
