Carllene M Placide

Carllene Placide is a partner in the Labor & Employment Group. She concentrates her practice on international business, employment law, employment litigation and OSHA/WISHA matters. She also has extensive experience handling B, E, H, J, L, O, P, TN and R nonimmigration status and visas, employment-based immigration visas, labor certifications and post-residency petitions.

Carllene has litigated in state and federal courts and agencies on a wide range of employment issues including race, gender, age, disability, religious and national origin discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violation, safety and health issues and workers compensation. She also counsels corporate clients regarding employment immigration matters, measures to avoid litigation, EEO investigation and preparation of responses to EEO charges, new business venture employment practices, development and implementation of company policies and handbooks, employment contracts, contract negotiation, employee discipline, effective hiring and termination, employment and immigration regulatory compliance, and related employment matters.
