I have worked with Brian P. Edwards and his team closely over the past 14 months. I am writing this fresh out of an arduous, complex circumstance and trial. While results are pending, I am compelled to share my experience. What I needed: Due to having several friends who are attorneys, I’m very... discerning and had my own matrix for assessing potential counsel. Finally, it’s evident Mr. Edwards strives to enable families to live freely in peace. With over a year working together, I can say he’s a person of substantial character and a highly talented attorney. Brian is the real deal. For those embarking on this journey: I encourage you to get an understanding of the basic elements of the process - filings/motions, mediation etc. so you know what to expect. While I know Brian would happily detail out every step if asked, his time on your case will be best spent working your case. Create a support system around you, such as a therapist, other parents going through it, work out partners, etc. Engage the right people for the right things. Good luck.

Attorney Brian Edwards put me at ease from the start. Considering I reside out of the country, finding an attorney online was my only option. I was impressed with Brian's experience in working with children and communities, and I felt his passion for helping people. My first encounter with Brian w...as the consultation over the phone. I was served an order to appear in court, and the hearing was no more than one week away. I briefly explained my situation to Brian, and immediately he put me at ease. Brian helped me easily understand the court process, and how my case would move forward. I was well informed every step of the way throughout the entire process. His staff were very helpful in assisting with the process by ensuring timely submission of documents for electronic signature, as well as timely filing of all court documents, even at the last minute. I was provided with a copy of all documents filed, and all documents were edited properly. I was ordered to appear via telephone, and the court was unable to reach me at the designated hearing time. Despite this, the hearing continued, and the judge ruled in our favor.

Working with Brian was a very positive experience for me. He was able to resolve my case quickly and without an extremely costly trial. He was knowledgeable and kept me informed on everything going on. Brian was easy to work with and I was able to trust that he had my best interest in hand. Every...body I interacted with at the office was friendly. Thank you for a wonderful job and I would recommend Brian again to others.

Brian and his office is great. He always responded to my emails or phone calls and answered my questions. I felt better about my situation knowing I could always ask any question I had and he would be there to answer it. He helped me feel more comfortable with the trial and what to expect. A divorce is never an easy process, and in my case, it was not only unexpected, but also contentious. Watching his expertise in court was a welcome comfort. At every point in the process, I felt that he was on my team, fighting for justice in a very bad situation. And, in the end, I was able to get a fair and just result. His mixture of compassion and conscientious counsel (not telling me what I wanted to hear, but being honest at every turn), is rare and honourable. His firm is a team of equally conscientious and compassionate individuals which made a terrible situation better. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Brian and his firm to any friend or colleague in need.
