I am a criminal defense attorney who also practices in the areas of traffic infractions and expungement/vacation of criminal records. I am a public defender for the cities of Issaquah, North Bend, Carnation, and Woodinville, and I also handle private criminal cases throughout the Puget Sound region.
As a former prosecutor, I offer a unique understanding of both "sides" of the courtroom. I was a prosecutor for King County Prosecutor's Office, where I handled DUIs, traffic infractions, remanded felony murder cases, and more. I did my early training at Pierce County Prosecutor's Office, where I focused on domestic violence cases. As a prosecutor, I lived in the courtroom and I argued 50+ motions and trials. My experience as a prosecutor has been incredibly valuable in evaluating cases and advising my clients accordingly.
The best part of my job, by far, is working closely with my clients.. their stories and experiences inspire me every day to be a zealous advocate for their rights and freedoms.

I've thought highly of Ann since initially meeting her in the King County Prosecutor's Office. Ann is extremely intelligent, has a fantastic rapport with prosecutors/judges, and perhaps most importantly, sincerely cares about her clients. I have worked with Ann on several matters and have the utmost respect for her as an attorney & person.
