Jan Gossing

I have used Jan since 2013. He was instrumental in getting me through a very difficult IRS audit which was caused by my having hired a very incompetent CPA. Jan was there for me through the entire IRS meet and greet and review and analysis. In the end I paid a couple of bucks to the IRS was found ...to have not been at fault and have never been audited since. Jan is also a CPA and has filed my tax returns for the last 12 years. Owning what amounts to around 5 businesses and having a ton of write offs and carryover Jan is careful to find every deduction but also careful to remind me to not want to get audited again so we are careful to not actually claim every single deduction I'm entitled to. Which is fair. I have appreciated his attention to detail and his friendship. Yes, we became friends as a result of having worked together for so many years and with me being in finance and him being in law. Like me Jan is a one man band so he is juggling quite a few balls all at the same time so sometimes a little patience is required but that patience is worthwhile. Highly recommend.

I am extremely disappointed in the service I have received from Mr. Gossing. I have read several reviews as to how great and attentive he is however at this point I feel it’s just personal because he is so unresponsive to me. I try not to be a bother but apparently that gets me nowhere as well. Throu...ghout my bankruptcy I pretty much received the same service and when he and his previous business partner parted ways I felt a loyalty to him and stuck it out with his piss poor service because when he is responsive he is AMAZING!! Unfortunately that type of service an unresponsiveness is truly unacceptable. It seems as though he is way to busy to even attempt to make you feel as a priority.
