My husband and I hired Tamblyn Law to prepare a post-nuptial agreement. Since we were aligned with conditions and had prepared a draft ourselves, we figured hiring an attorney would be simple. Wrong. We spoke to over 10 attorneys throughout Greater Seattle and Tacoma who were clearly overcomplicating... our case (we suspected for billing). Then we found Sara. Sara charged us a sane rate, took our feedback, communicated promptly in Email, and completed our post-nup painlessly. We are happy to have found a knowledgeable family attorney of integrity. We recommend her and would definitely use her firm again.

I had hired Sara Tamblyn's services to respond to a a child support modification that had been filed with the courts at around the end of November. Upon receipt of petition my "20 days to respond clock" had just started and was going to move fast. Once explaining my case and getting all details str...aight, within no time Sara had put together my endless stack of documents in a readable format so to file with the courts. We had just done our response to the petitioner and were waiting on the petitioners next move, when things went sideways for them. The other party's attorney, within a day of our response, withdrew from the case and put the whole future process of my case now in to disarray. Sara had to now personally interact with the petitioner on all matters of my case, which made it not the easiest at all. Fast forward almost 2 1/2 months later, my case is still not going anywhere at all due to the petitioner not having an attorney, but yet Sara continued to pressed the matter trying to get it resolved so it would not have to go to court. Through Sara' perseverance and consistent pushing, she was able to force the petitioner to hire a new attorney and within weeks a case that dragged on for months, was resolved in days. Through my past experiences in dealing with legal matters I have attorney's give up and/or not provide the best services due to a host of issues that come up. Not once did Sara ever give me the inclination that she was going to not give her 100% on my case and/or that she was going to not give me an outcome that I was looking for. Sara is an attorney that will pay attention to all the little details that are extremely important and any legal maneuver that one can do to win one's case and/or have the outcome more beneficial. It was nice to have an attorney who I could trust. I would hire Sara again in a flash and would recommend her to anyone looking for a family law attorney.

I needed to modify a parenting plan while withholding visitation from a party that was demonstrating dangerous behavior with the kids so it was imperative that I acted quickly. I filled out Saras online form and she contacted me and we sat down for our consult within 24 hours she discussed multiple ...options for me, and you could tell that she was knowledgeable and concerned about her clients bottom line. Sara isn't here to gouge you and she brought some sanity and clarity to my case as the other party was unpredictable, non responsive etc. In the end she was able to negotiate a best case scenario conclusion to my case and was very happy with the result...I WOULD'VE PAID MORE!!! and didn't need to she is always concerned about the costs when giving you advise as to how to proceed and what is the best option for your particular situation.... thx Sara!

More than 10 years ago I moved from California scared and very unsure of all of the decisions I was going to have to start making regarding my divorce, child custody and support; all of this while California had jurisdiction. Sara was not only very knowledgeable but she was thorough. She wasn't one o...f these lawyers who are "out for blood" or drew things out in order to milk every last dollar. She did everything with in her power to keep things as calm and amicable as possible resulting in what I felt was a streamlined and fairly inexpensive divorce and custody (compared to other divorce and custody battles I have heard about) . I was so please with the results that when it came time to re-evaluate our parenting plan 7 years later, I hired her again.
