David H Green

Dave Green is Assistant General Counsel to Microsoft, advising on intellectual property issues related to copyrights, trade secrets, publicity rights, competitive intelligence, and related licensing, marketing, and product development matters for its Devices & Studios, Business Development and Evangalism, and Marketing and Advertsing divisions. He also manages the teams responsible for Notice & Takedown policy.  Formerly Associate General Counsel to the media company Corbis, Dave has expertise in copyright, publicity rights, licensing, technology, and entertainment matters, and has devised successful strategic licensing and enforcement programs on behalf of rights owners. His efforts for notable celebrity estates including Albert Einstein and Steve McQueen helped land them on the Forbes list of top earning celebrity estates.

A frequent speaker, commentator, and author on issues and articles involving copyright and publicity rights, Dave is a past Trustee of the U.S. Copyright Society. He co-chairs the ABA Committee on New Media & Innovation. His accomplishments or commentary have appeared in numerous sources, including Forbes, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and National Public Radio.

Dave helped to found McQueen Racing LLC with actor and racer Chad McQueen, and has launched product and entertainment deals with Porsche Design, Triumph, Troy Lee Designs, Paramount, and others.
