Chad was completely professional, providing appropriate guidance as we reworked the details of my will. He suggested a number of valuable options, several of which were included in the final document. As indicated above, he was an excellent resource. Of equal importance to those traits he has outstanding interpersonal skills. On my recommendation several friends have engaged him to update their personal records.
Chad Horner has provided me and my family legal advise for many years. His expertise and knowledge is without question. He has helped me with estate planning, a will and a pre nuptial agreement as well as general overall legal advise on issues which arise in our daily lives.
I am pleased to recommend Chad to all of my family and friends and look forward to meeting with him again myself to update my estate plans.
He is sincerely interested in his clients and has always made me feel that my needs are his number one priority at the time.
My practice focuses on advising individuals and families on how to protect and help their loved ones through proper estate planning. This often includes preparing wills, trusts and related documents, but also includes a review of clients’ financial situation and a discussion about their goals before and when they pass away. I also advise families after a loved one has passed away and can assist them through the probate process when one is necessary. I am a frequent speaker on topics involving estate planning, probates, and estate administration.
Through the years, I have been appointed by the court to many positions, including estate administrator, probate guardian ad litem, special representative, and special master. I currently serve as a Pro Tem Commissioner in the King County Superior Court’s Ex Parte and Probate Department. An essential part of my practice has involved community service, including working with clients at legal clinics and serving on boards helping children with disabilities and improving access to affordable healthcare.
I have also created and maintain the website , which is a resource for families and lawyers navigating the probate system in King County.

Can't say enough good things
Unfortunately, I have had the need to work with numerous lawyers over the years and I can say without hesitation that Chad is the best! He is the antithesis of the stereotypical attorney. He truly is trustworthy, responsive, kind, thoughtful, fair, and highly knowledgeable in his areas of specialty.
