Mark Steven Gouras

I came to Mark after wasting time with another attorney for the beginning of my case. Mark made me feel secure that he would fight for the things that were important to me. He never dismissed my feelings or made me feel like I was asking too much. He was balanced and gave solid advice from his obv...ious many years of expertise. I could tell he really knew his way around the block and I felt comfortable that he would guide and support me every step of the way. In the end he made sure I reached a fair settlement and didn't concede too much to my ex. His paralegal Morgan is top-notch as well. She was so organized and made sure I was prepared every step of the way. She was often times pulling my ex's lawyer & team along because they were so disorganized and behind on things. I can't say enough good things about Mark and his team.

I hired Mark Gouras as my divorce lawyer in August of 2021. My divorce was difficult for me. He was welcoming and I felt secure hiring him. I checked around with other lawyers but I'm glad I went with him. Mr. Gouras was professional and I didn't feel swindled or cheated out of my time or money; one ...of my chief worries when I started looking for a lawyer. My case wasn't straight forward but I felt like I was being represented by someone with more than enough experience. Do not go with just any lawyer. Bad/cheap lawyers will cost you more in the long run when it comes to divorces. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone who needs his services. I came out the other side of this ordeal feeling better than I would've assumed and it was because of him and his paralegal. He absolutely made a positive difference in my life and future prospects.

I hired Mr Gouras after my ex husband served me with a protection order and moved 3hrs away with our child. Mark was pleasant but realistic with what I could expect at the upcoming Family Law hearing. When the hearing took place via Zoom, I was hit with an exorbitant amount of spousal support and l...imited visitation even though I had been primary parent. I fell apart and wailed like an old Indian woman. I hadn't been able to see my daughter in 2+ months and now I had to pay my ex husband how much? During the hearing, Mr Gouras failed to follow the #1 Zoom rule of place yourself on mute when not talking. Allegedly my wails of despair could be heard by the Commissioner and the other party's lawyer. I believe that I embarrassed Mark by being heard during the hearing because after I left to compose myself, Mark has refused to talk to me, answer emails or take my calls. He attempted to leave me with no representation during a very crucial phase in this long and drawn out process and neglected to write any arguments in support for the next hearing scheduled for the following week. Hiring him was as bad as if I were representing myself....maybe worse because I would at least have filled out the forms correctly.

I hired Mark Gouras as my family law attorney in a complicated child custody/domestic violence case.
