I hired Mr. Victor Ro Esq to do a job for me to represent me in a matter were I was choked by a nurse in a hospital he did not finish his job and left my case when I had no more money to pay him I gave him my life savings and retirement I want my money back Mr. Victor Ro Esq if that is your real name... . I am not doing well . I am requesting you get me a new lawyer for this nurse matter and a few other matters I have so I can get justice I need representation in a few matters from a competent lawyer who gives a darn about me I did not feel that you gave a darn about m because if you did you would have taken my case to the Us supreme court like I asked you to . Your kids if you have some are probably going to college on my money I want my money back . And for you to tell your kids that your kids are going to college on a indigent womens money . When I first hired Victor, he seemed very knowledgeable and courteous. He even made it sound like he was giving me a "great deal" for his services when we signed the contract detailing our agreement of one price ($12K) to cover everything beginning to end. I clarified several times that I would not b...e billed additional fees as I did not have the cash flow, which is why I was requesting to pay everything up front rather than month-to-month in the first place. It was very important I know exactly how much to borrow to ensure the funds were secured before we began. I was told the only possible fees would be "very minimal". I asked for clarification of what "very minimal" meant to him and was told it "may be a tank of gas or a few copies, but that's it". Despite a signed agreement, Victor needed SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS more within a few weeks and then again a few weeks after that. Just before we went to trial, he insisted on $15K more... "Unless I wanted him to stop the case right then?" When I reminded him of our agreement and how frustrating it was to feel like I had wasted so much money to accomplish nothing, he became extremely defensive and belligerent taking "great offense" that I would feel that way "after all he'd done for me". I opted NOT to give him anymore money, cut my losses, and find another avenue to get what I needed; and it turns out that was the best move anyway. Prior to hiring Victor, I looked online for reviews or recommendations of any kind and I found nothing. If I had found this review, I would never have wasted the time or money I did.

I was referred to Mr. Ro by Legal shield as an attorney to hopefully hire for my case. I did call for an initial appointment to meet and greet and possibly hire him. I made sure to ask if there will be a charge for this meeting. His assistant told me there is a $100 charge, but I will get 25% disco...unt since I am a Legal shield member. In the past most attorneys did not usually charge for the initial meetings, however I thought $75 is not so bad. So I did meet him at his office in Kirkland. He came across like a fast talking, fast closing salesman, We talked about him, and how important and urgent it was to hire him now, he wanted a $5000 retainer right then to start. I was getting quite uncomfortable by now and wanted out of there. Cordially I thanked him for his time and said I will think about his proposal and get back to him in the next day or two. Then asked him how do I pay for the initial meeting. He said that will be $500 minus 25% makes it $375. cash, I mentioned I was told it will be $75. He got very belligerent and mentioned it is 375 and has to be in cash now. He proceeded to mention if he sends me a bill it will not be $375 but $1300, and continued to say "and I know how to collect it" . I did not want to entangle with a character like that any more that I have to, so I offered the $250 that I had on me and said I'll pay you the rest tomorrow. With a few more threats about how good he is at collecting I left the office. Next day I took him the of $175. But I insisted on a receipt, reluctantly I got a hand written receipt, which I still have. I am 68 years old last time I was hosteled like this was in a carnival when I was 18 . I chalked it up to a bad experience. I am thankful the review sites exist, to let others know about my experience.

He was very thorough presenting all information in a very honest and clear manner. I always felt like I was given the good, bad, in-between and information of his past experiences which helped me feel knowledgeable about decisions that had to be made. While in court and seeing him in action always in...stilled confidence. He wasn't afraid to speak up and knew how to talk with the judges very well. I was never disappointed.
