Strong track record and trusted advisor.

I have consulted with Ken and sought his advice about several legal matters (personal and professional) over the past two decades. Ken's wise counsel and effective advocacy consistently resulted in the best resolution for the particular set of facts/challenges. He is highly respected by judges, adm...inistrative/regulatory boards and attorneys in Washington because of his integrity, expertise, credibility and skill, whether in trial, administrative proceedings, or negotiating other effective resolutions for his clients. Ken is a knowledgeable, compassionate and trusted advisor. He is a great listener, effective communicator, and gifted attorney who calmly navigates his clients through difficult legal matters. Ken is among the finest and best in the legal profession.

Just What I Needed!

I was referred to Ken by a well-respected professor at my law school as the best attorney in Washington for character and fitness issues and one of only a few attorneys to trust with such sensitive and career changing issues. Ken surely delivered. He knew just how to handle my situation and easily ha...ndled the road bumps that presented themselves. Ken was very familiar about my type of issues, well prepared for the board, and extremely knowledgeable able the hearing process. With Ken's help, I was approved by the Character and Fitness Board to sit for the next Bar Exam. In terms of client communication, I could not have asked for more, especially since I always wanted to stay in the loop and have my questions answered quickly. Ken was very flexible with meeting times, always available for questions, and promptly responded to all of my messages. After the hearing, he even made sure too meet with me and let me know what to expect the rest of the way and when. I am very satisfied and recommend him to anyone that encounters Character and Fitness issues. There is no one better!

Wise advice and skilled advocacy

Mr. Kagan was my attorney through a long, complex and trying ordeal. Throughout several years, he was a constantly, though realistically calming influence. His advice, which was often crucial and contrary to my first impulse, proved to be sound. At the most important juncture, his advice to object... to a procedure proposed by an ethics committee was what carried the day in my favor and produced a highly satisfactory outcome. It has been comforting and a pleasure to have his representation, and I recommend him highly.

"Ken Kagan is the best choice for professional licensing matters. I have had the opportunity to observe Ken's fine work from a number of different angles. I first saw him when I was a member of the Character & Fitness Board, where I found his work far superior to all the other attorneys who appeared before us. I have referred many clients to him and all of have had wonderful outcomes and been highly satisfied with his work. I have joined him in defending individuals accused of crimes that would surely result in professional discipline if the matter went badly. Finally, I have consulted with Ken concerning ethical dilemmas of my own and his advice and counsel has always been spot on. If you are facing professional discipline Ken should be your first call."
