Monahan Tucker Law has offices in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Portland, OR.  The journey to opening Monahan Tucker Law was decades-long. I worked as a waitress, office manager, book store clerk, messenger, and nanny to put myself through college and law school at the University of Chicago. For more than a decade after, I worked at some of the top law firms in the country, litigating bet-the-company cases, including high value life, health, property and disability insurance claims. Eventually, I realized that I like insurance cases, and I like helping people.  Now I use my knowledge of the inner workings of insurance companies to help insureds navigate these complex systems. While insurance claims are business decisions to the insurance companies, denials can change the life of the person who doesn't get the benefits they are owed.
