Biography
Kristine's career in family law began in 2007 as a paralegal and law clerk to Stella L. Pitts. She became an attorney through the Rule 6 Law Clerk program in 2013 and joined the Law Offices of Sherri M. Anderson in 2017. Her practice focuses on substantial estates which require creative solutions – legal, financial, emotional – for unique problems: e.g. divorce in the context of closely held businesses, stock awards and options, retirement assets, pensions, trusts, separate property tracing.
Her professional background prior to entering the legal field as a teacher (English literature at UW and Seattle University), an artist (weaver), and a retail buyer for a small business inform her practical and nuanced approach to the circumstances clients bring to her. Kristine’s decade-deep background in mediation and trial practice ensures that she and her clients are prepared for settlement and court.
