Unprofessional and untrustworthy

My experience with Leslie started off well, and then turned sour rapidly. I initially contacted her via phone to see if she would take my simple Green Card renewal case. I had selected her, as she took the ARAG benfit that my employer provides. She said she could take the case, and identified th...e documentation I would need to provide. I took specific notes as to what was needed. The next day, she asked for the ARAG case confirmation form, which was promptly sent to her the same day via e-mail. After that... crickets. I didn't hear a thing from her. I tried e-mailing. No response. I tried calling and left voicemail. Did not once return a phone call. I e-mailed her again, and she finally replied and said she was busy with a tight filing deadline, and would reply back when finished. Days later and no reply. I e-mailed again, stating I had all of the documentation ready, and provided a detailed list of the documentation collected (I've done 100% of the work at this point), and she finally replied. She then informed me that the filing fees I stated were incorrect, and after I supplied proof, she realized she was quoting the filing fee for a different form entirely. We agreed to meet in her office finally, and upon reviewing the documents, she asked for documentation that was not previously stated in 1 of our written communications, and 1 verbal communication. When I asked why this was missed, she stated she was in the middle of a custody hearing, and was going to likely opt out of this case. I promptly fired her. To sum it up, doesn't reply to e-mail in a timely manner, does not return phone calls. Supplied inaccurate information. Seemed to think our case was a waste of her time. Would I trust her with the security of our family? Absolutely not. If you are considering hiring her- I'd strongly recommend reconsidering it. By far the most unprepared unprofessional attorney I have ever worked with.

"I endorse this lawyer. Leslie is extremely hard working, caring, and knowledgeable in her field. She is results-driven, as an attorney should be for their client, and does not let ego or conflicting interests get in the way of her client's best interests. I have referred numerous attorneys and clients to her for both advice and legal assistance on the difficult challenges they face in confronting divorce, separation and family law matters. Leslie is not only savvy and smart, but is beloved and respected by the courts and community alike for her integrity and strength of character. I would not hesitate to ask her for help or to recommend her to a client."
